Medical Doctor (Univ Western Ontario) 1982.

Completed Family Practice Residency programmme in 1984.

Dr. Anello ran a successful family practice in Cambridge from 1986 to 1994 which included full spectrum, comprehensive care including Obstetrics, Neonatal Care, Paediatric Care, Well child and Adult care, Emergency Room rotations, Hospital Coverage, Surgical Assisting. During this time Continuing Medical Education in Nutritional Medicine, Complementary Medicine, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Psychotherapy and Transpersonal Psychology were incorporated into the family practice. With the crisis in Health Care following the government cutbacks of the mid nineties, this format of comprehensive family practice became unsustainable. Offering indepth consultations on Nutritional Medicine and Integrative Medicine along with Chelation Therapy for Heavy Metal Intoxication and Complementary Medicine as adjunctive treatments to Cancer the practice began to grow and soon became a full time endeavour. Today our team brings you Integrative Medicine under one roof at Complementary Healing Arts.

Japanese Deep Tissue Lymphatic Acupunture (DTLA) having been researched and developed in Japan by blind healers, practitioners emphasize information aquired by touch to determine needle placement. It differs significantly from traditional Chinese forms of acupuncture in that one needle is placed at a time and gently manipulated until the tissue around it aquires a correct healthy tone after which the needle is removed and the next point addressed. Sessions are longer (1 to 1 1/2 hours) with the practioner working on the individual for the entire duration (more labour intensive) but with quicker, more thorough results.
